Chile de Arbol:
Long thin Chile, measured on average 7 cm long and 1 cm wide. When it is fresh and ripe it's green and red of color. Its taste resembles of the Serrano Chile, Dry Chile de Arbol is bright red, very spicy, this is the way most consumed. It is used to make various stews itching, when it is made the seeds and veins are not removed. This is very common especially for table sauces. This Chili does not grow in a tree (Arbol=Tree) as the name suggests, simply plant growing but it is higher than the average of the other species. If the recipe mentions Chile de Arbol and does not specify whether fresh or dry, you should always use dry.
